Hello! It’s me again, design team member Natalie, back with another layout for you. This is the first layout that I created using the Cheeky Studio Norwegian collection designed by Cat Martin, but it definitely won’t be the last – it is just so gorgeous that I want to squeeze as many layouts from it as I can. I’ve already made three more to share with you, but you’ll have to come back every Wednesday between now and the end of February to see them!
I absolutely adore the colours in this collection, especially the mint green and the light peach – this is one of my all time favourite colour combinations – very art deco!
I also love the folk art vibe of the florals. It’s right up my street!

Thanks for stopping by! See you again next Wednesday. xxx
Hello, it’s me, Natalie, again. This is my last layout for January and my last layout with the Autumn Beauty collection. I’m very sad to see it go, as I’ve loved using it; it’s so bright and beautiful – just what I needed to cheer up the dreary January weather here in the UK!
The wonderful things about the 12×12 paper that I used for the background of this layout, is that the three pre-printed wreaths do all the work for you and create a beautiful backdrop to whatever photograph you want to lay on top.
They also make a great place to nestle the little robin red breast that comes in the ephemera pack.
And the middle of the wreaths are the perfect places to put your titles and sentiments.
As well as a few pieces of Autumn Beauty ephemera, I also managed to include two cut aparts from the Wildflowers collections. The colours of both collections work perfectly along side each other.
If you’d like to see how the layout came together, you can watch the video below.
Thanks for stopping by! Until next time … happy scrapping. xxx
Hello! It’s me, Natalie, back with my second design team project for January. For this layout. I used the gorgeous Autumn Beauty collection to scrap a photo of my daughter taken a few years ago while we were out shopping. She’d just bought a cute umbrella that was bright pink and had panda eyes and ears! The Autumn Beauty paper I chose as my background had a bright pink flower in it that perfectly complemented the umbrella.
As I was gathering all the pieces for this layout, I had the idea to take my craft knife and cut around the outline of the pink flower and green leaves and tuck my photo underneath it, so it looked as if it were nestling amongst the flowers. I’d never tried this before, but it worked really well. I’m so pleased with how it turned out.
I also fussy-cut around one of the large flowers from another of the Autumn Beauty papers and used this, along with some ephemera pieces, to create a floral cluster around the top right of the photo.
To create a visual triangle and add a sentiment, I positioned a third and final cluster in the top left hand corner of the layout. I also added some enamel shapes and gold splatters as finishing touches.
If you’d like to see this layout come to life, you can watch the process video on YouTube.
Hello! It’s design team member Natalie here. For my first Cheeky Studio design team project of 2019, I used the Autumn Beauty collection to create a 12×12 layout featuring two very cute photos of my daughter wearing her tiger suit. They were taken a good few years ago now, but they still make me smile whenever I see them. The colours in the Autumn Beauty collection are the perfect complement for the photos too. You can watch how I put it together below. Thanks for stopping by! x

I was excited to make this layout using several different products from Cheeky Studio. I mixed and matched and pulled from my stash and I just LOVE how bright and fun this layout is! I started with this cream cardstock for the foundation and added the Norwegian Wood papers and Autumn Beauty papers to start my foundation. I just adore the soft colors in the flower clusters on the Autumn Beauty paper.
I also took a piece of the Norwegian Wood papers and fussy cut out a bunch of the lovely flowers. What I didn’t fussy cut, I pulled from the ephemera to build my clusters around the photo.
As pictured above you can also see where I used the Cut Apart Labels from the Sweet Succulents collection and the Wild Flowers collection to add an additional element to my clusters. All of these colors went together so well that the layout came together quickly. I did pull in some Thickers from AC for my *cough* *cough* “age”….lol!
I needed one more cluster to balance the page and loved this large label in the NW ephemera. It went in the bottom right hand corner with a touch of thread and a few more flowers. Go light on the thread or it might get “messy”.
Below is the final layout! I do have the process video on my personal Youtube Channel here: https://youtu.be/32kyVSq39C0 and on the Cheeky Studio Youtube Channel here: https://youtu.be/et5o2rLuh84
